About Me
My name is Lauren Kathryn Ülbricht the Geo Blogger.
I call myself the Geo blogger for a few reasons. One being, I don't really know what I'm doing but if I start blogging I feel like should have a name. I studied Geology and Environmental Policy and Decision Making at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma Washington and I absolutely love rocks, especially big mountainous ones. I've been very lucky in my life to have the opportunities to travel and observe the world. Writing is majorly how I process my experiences and the world around me. If you scroll through my website you'll find journal entries, pictures, videos and an array of poetry I've written on the water, in the mountains, in the rain and out of the back tailgate of my car where I am currently living. I do my life a little differently than all my friends but I am truly full with the small amount of things I own and the vast amount of people that have blessed my life along the way. I challenge you to do the scary things and not let comforts keep you from evolving. Cheers!
